Our recruitment goal is to attract individuals with the competencies to successfully overcome challenges they will face in the classroom and in low-income communities across Ghana. With this goal in mind, we recruit Ghana’s best and brightest recent university graduates and young professionals who believe in our theory of change and will work tirelessly towards the educational development of all children in Ghana.
The TFG recruitment process is highly selective with less than 10% of applicants accepted each year. All applicants complete an extensive online application form that tests for core competencies that we believe are indicators of their future success in the classroom and beyond. If successful at the application stage they progress to a telephone interview and then attend our day-long Assessment Centre (AC). At the AC they teach a lesson; complete a written self-reflection; take part in a group discussion; and then take a critical reasoning test. Only if successful in these activities will they be invited to a one-on-one interview, and ultimately join the Leadership Development Fellowship.
